Restaurant: Ishq, Kuala Lumpur

Both Jason and Wei Min are engineers with an obsession for good food.

For a visitor visiting the Mutiara Crown Plaza for the first time, we did not immediately notice the presence of ISHq, which is tucked nicely at a corner of the hotel. The outlook of the restaurant seems quite ordinary at first glance but upon walking past the entrance we were surprised to find ourselves actually standing on what seems to be a balcony platform overlooking a grand banquet hall below. A wooden stairway on the right hand side of the entrance led us down to the exquisite dining hall that reveals a water feature which runs across the center strip of the dining area. The theme of the dining hall is evidently Asian, with refined modern wood furnishing, and Balinese accents decorating the balcony railing structures.

Restaurant: California Pizza Kitchen, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

Yyess, pasta - lovely pasta to get hungry with. This time, we headed to Suria KLCC for some photo shooting & shopping. I always love this tall, majestic building for some reason. I love watching the different kind of people from all walks of life just hanging out here. After a brisk walk at the park, we were thinking of what to eat…

And so for lunch, we decided to choose California Pizza Kitchen - located on the 1st level of Suria.

Restaurant: Madam Kwan’s, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

I love the food at Madam Kwan’s.
I used to order the assam prawns but I didn’t order one the last time I went. If I’m going there again, I will definitely order the prawns. Besides that, it’s really a place where you can get the typical Malaysian food, and I love our local cuisine!

I love the nasi lemak and hubby has always preferred the char kueh teow.
